Dirty White Lies:

Wendy Pate and I did a version of "Dirty White Lies" by the Neo Boys for Jackpot Records' web series Jackpot Covers Portland using a set of SLM analog synth bass pedals, a Hammond Auto-Vari 64 drum machine, and a Casiotone CT-405:

I play and record in a wide variety of musical styles - often as a sideman on steel guitar, trumpet, and other instruments ranging from Piano to Banjo. But occasionally I lead my own group, usually either the Fabulous Pu Pu Platters (we think of ourselves as a musical sampler plate with a Hawaiian influence. . .) or the Fun Machine Orchestra, in which I lead a group including horns, vocals, guitar & percussion from the console of a Baldwin Fun Machine home organ. Below are a few samples from recordings I have made with each, as well as a few other projects I have had over the years...

I am also active as an arranger, writing parts for strings, horns, and other instruments. Some of the folks I have worked with in this capacity are Little Sue, Casey Neill, Lewi Longmire, and the Eels (who recorded several of my arrangements on their DVD "Live at Town Hall.") Here are some recordings featuring arrangements of mine:
